Dr. Guay has close to 30 years of experience in the dental field. After graduating from the Université Laval doctoral program in dental medicine in 1987, he practised as a dental surgeon/dentist until 1995. Dr. Guay then sold his clinic to pursue his deep interest in orthodontics, which he practised full-time for 2 years in order to obtain his post-graduate specialization in orthodontics from the Université de Montréal. Dr. Guay then practised in various offices in Trois-Rivières and Québec City; in 2000, Dr. Guay decided to move to the Outaouais region and purchased premises formerly occupied by Dr. Retrouvey and Dr. Lafontaine. These offices have been part of our region’s landscape for about forty years.
Dr. Guay is passionate about orthodontics. He regularly participates in the most advanced national and especially international training programs in the field. Orthodontics is constantly evolving and Dr. Guay is as determined as ever to innovate, keep pace with new technologies and offer his patients the best orthodontic care possible. Dr. Guay has also achieved distinction a number of times in the past for his lingual orthodontic services. He delivers training programs at the Université de Montréal and has been a guest speaker at dental conferences.
The clinic regularly sponsors patient activities, whether tournaments, performances, international competitions, humanitarian aid fundraisers, etc. to encourage their causes and interests.
The clinic operates an installment payment plan free of charges and interest. Orthodontic treatments are eligible for a tax credit. We can assist you with your insurance claims by providing all of the necessary documents.
